Let's get to know each other!
Maria Marnezou - Psychologist - Psychotherapist - Ampelokipoi Attica

Hello, I am Maria Marnezou, a certified cognitive behavioral psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with main activity in the center of Athens. I provide psychological support, psychotherapy and counseling both on an individual and group level (couple, group, family therapy), in person and remotely.

Since 2021, I have been working as a lecturer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Center for Applied Psychotherapy and Counseling (KE.PSY.SY), as a supervisor of internships for psychology students in postgraduate programs and as a consultant for young psychologists and mental health professionals. I am also a regular member of the Hellenic Psychologists Association and since 2016, I have been collaborating with private institutions, within the framework of which I provide individual therapy to people with anxiety disorders and other difficulties.

I apply synthetic psychotherapy, combining elements from different psychotherapeutic approaches, such as schema therapy or trauma therapy, so that there is a meaningful intervention at all levels of human existence – intellectual, psychosomatic, emotional, behavioral and interpersonal.

My philosophy

My interest in understanding human behavior and the desire to help people overcome the difficulties and challenges of their lives led me to train, become and develop daily as a professional psychotherapist.
The name of my office, Well One, reflects my commitment to a holistic approach to mental health and my deep belief in inclusion and equal access for all people to the mental health services they need. Through synthetic psychotherapy and in a specially designed, safe and calm environment, I seek a meaningful connection with my clients and combine the appropriate psychotherapeutic methods to offer them comprehensive and personalized support.
My goal is for every person who trusts me as a companion on their journey of personal development to discover their strength and live a more balanced and joyful life.
